Misfits star Robert Sheehan is set to star in a BBC remake of the children's classic The Borrowers, which will be screened this Christmas.
The film will be based on the much-loved book by Mary Norton about a family of tiny people living in secret beneath the floorboards of a house.
Robert - who plays Nathan in the Channel 4 show - will play the role of Spiller, who teams up with one of the family, Arietty Clock, to save her parents when they are captured.
The star-studded cast in the remake, which will bring the story up to date, will also include Stephen Fry, Christopher Eccleston and Victoria Wood.
Controller of BBC Drama Commissioning Ben Stephenson described the remake as, "A brilliant and bold contemporary version of this classic tale with all the charm of the original.
"But it has a thrilling, moving and funny modern sensibility, written and directed by two of our most exciting young talents with an amazing cast. It's the perfect Christmas present," he added.
Filming on the remake will begin this summer.
